I don't want to repeat the details of the private conversation I had with Pete because I do respect privacy, but I am now lumping Pete in with the other anti-LGBT religious bigots. Sorry Pete. I can't really respect your position like I originally intended and I will have to agree with the others here. Everything said will be kept between us though.

I'm still not generalizing Christians because I know too many others who are better about this. They can get past their preconceptions so they get to be my friends.
I don't believe you. Get over it.
