Do you consider yourself to be a nice person?

In general, yes, because I don't like anger and always try to step back from it which makes me very forgiving... but at the same time I have no time for games or gameplayers any more. In the past I was easily manipulated but now whenever I see games I just disengage, completely. So in the past I'd have done a lot to 'fit in' but now I've seen enough loneliness and rejection in my life to be accustomed to it and comfortable with it... so that power over me is gone... I will not be controlled because I am willing and able to step outside an existing social order/dynamic. For instance, when I was at school, and after I came out, I lost all my friends and ended up completely ostracised, spending my breaks and lunchtimes alone in a dark classroom with nothing but a walkman for company, actually looking forward to the lessons. At the time that was hell, but now I've matured enough to actually be perfectly comfortable with that arrangement.
