Once again, this time in a college clip today, a player thought he had already crossed the line and flicked the ball backwards and it landed on the 1 foot line and then he went in. That is so fucking stupid.
I remember long ago a Dallas Miami clip where the guy held the ball backwards while running to the endzone and a Miami player kocked the ball out of his hands.
JUST GET IN THE ENDZONE first.
In college football isn't celebrating before you reach the endzone a penalty? I remember watching a clip of an Australian punter in an American college who did a fake punt and ran for a touchdown, but he put his arms out to the side before he reached the endzone so they called it back. If I recall it's not a rule in Australia so he wasn't aware.
Here's the clip:

Haven't seen the clip yet, but if my thoughts are correct the Aussie was probably aeroplaning once he was clear. You can see that quite often in rugby, just as the player is getting ready to ground the ball. I wouldn't be all that surprised if it weren't intentional.
