It took me a while to realize that I was bi. Especially because of the whole religion thing. Sometimes I wonder how my life might be different if I were raised atheist. I'm just glad my husband accepts me for who I am. I know a lot of people wouldn't be able to.
Some people are ass-holes, and some people get lucky and finds someone who understands and develops a caring-close-relationship with another. Some people are forever alone, I never believed that there is some one for everyone though.
