Obama's been the best thing that's ever happened to manufacturers and retailers of .22lr and 5.56....and firearms in those chamberings, particularly the AR15. They can't keep up with demand and distribution (opting to weight for 56 over 22 in most cases because there's a greater profit per unit), and the product retails for four times what it did eight years ago -on a good day-. Great for small gun-business too. Namely hand loads and reforging brass (due, again, to the strain put on manufacturers, distributors, and retailers to keep up with demand of a particular product to the exclusion of others).
