I've heard this argument from atheists before pointing out the Duggars and their recent family issues and cover-up. I ask you, where has any believer stated that all believers are perfect and only do "good"? Any believer who espouses such things can and should be labeled as a fraud. We are all people despite our beliefs and we all make mistakes that have consequences. Does that define who we are? How we handle those situations and continue to handle them long after fact defines and shapes our character.
I've made mistakes in my life, I'm certain everyone here has. Throwing ones mistakes in their face is the most hypocritical thing someone can do in my opinion. Not only are you playing the judge over their actions, but you are placing yourself as their moral superior. Do I agree with Josh's actions, or course not. Do I believe the victims and his parents handled it appropriately, that's not for me to say. I know I would have handled it differently but that is not to say their handling was wrong. They are in the public eye and that certainly needs to play a part in the decisions of handling it. These circumstances have life altering effects (I know from experience) and it will need to continually be handled/addressed throughout all of their lives.
Be careful how judge the actions of others and make statements about who they are. All you can make are statements of how YOU perceive them and that is not the same thing.

We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.
