It's about whether or not it's a healthy and productive practice. Not all things that bring you immediate happiness at the moment are good for you or give you a happier life in the long run.
Couldn't agree more CL. Won't fault anyone for doing it, but it sets unrealistic expectations of what real human relationships are like.
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.
