One of the most hilarious bits of comedy I have ever heard was a skit by Steve Martin where he described raising a child and teaching him the wrong words for everything. The child goes to school for the first time and needs to pee. So he raises his hand and asks the teacher, "Mame, may I mumble dog paddy down to the banana patch?"
Damn-near laughed myself sick over that. I thought to myself, can you imagine the consequences if you were to actually do that? The authorities would take the child away, lock you up and throw away the key.
But if Atlas can be taken at his word, a 58-year-old man just figured out that women can have orgasms.
Suddenly, it doesn't seem so funny anymore. Religious parents sometimes really do fuck with a child's mind to that extent and they get away with it. There are no consequences.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
