To be honest, this is bad logic. Homosexuality being ubiquitous throughout nature does not logically mean that homosexual people (or animals) are "born that way".
As an aside, our development is greatly affected by events within the womb. Variations in hormone exposure for instance. You could be 'born that way' without it being entirely due to your own genes. Not advocating for a prenatal explanation of sexuality, but it's probably a factor in at least some cases.
