There is a book about the number zero:

I read it about 15 years ago, just after it came it out. Apparently, the whole concept went underground for awhile, as the idea was "banned" in Florence during the high Middle Ages. Another interesting fact is that you can prove anything if you allow division by zero. As for Craig, you can Google his CV; he started out as a communications major, earning a BA from Wheaton College in Illinois. After that, he went to seminary getting master degrees in Bible and Biblical history. Ditto for his PhDs, which were basically a study in evangelical Christian apologetics. I don't know that he ever took any "higher mathematics" while in college. He certainly acts like he knows things, though, such as transfinite arithmetic (i.e., "elementary number theory"); I doubt very much, however, that he even took that class while in college. I didn't, although, I did take the 3-sememter calculus sequence, linear algebra, etc.
