if some rules were added so that things like this would be forbidden, it would be better.

Reading the thread, it all just seems more sophomoric than offensive. That said, there was another forumer whose story is much more in line with what you warned against. She actually decided to go from rambling screeds to issuing blanket insults on every forum member before going to the Gauntlet and getting banned. There was an apparently atheistic counterpart to her.
