I forgot about it. I wanted to lock my doors and put the chains on in case some kids come knocking demanding something I want to eat myself. But it's close to midnight and I guess I'm safe by now.
It's only 5:30 pm'ish here, not quite dark and rain on the way. If we can just make it to the storm we're golden. In 34 years here not one trick or treater has ever knocked on our warehouse door. We long ago stopped stocking up for the eventuality knowing we'd be stuck with whatever we got. As a result we dread getting that first knock with the candy larder bare.
