Your problem is with religion not God.
That sounds like special pleading. Wanting to separate the god of your religion from the gods of other religions. Judaism/Islam/Christianity is as much of a religion as everything else. There's no more evidence for your god as any other. You can't claim your god is good, when the actions spoken about in the bible clearly show he isn't.
The only information we have on your god is a book. The contents of the book are not reassuring.
