My personal experience of nearly six decades says otherwise.  In My case, satisfaction leads to confidence and the desire to tackle something even more challenging.  This is in accord with the work on "flow" by psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, whom I consider to be a reputable authority on the subject of human happiness.

As for the rest of your nonsense -- I do not believe in eternal life, or in souls, and I do not want eternal life.
