Okay so I actually skimmed the link a bit and the only basis the guy has for anything is, "God told me it's true." Never trust a person who claims to speak to God as that is the highest form of delusion a human being can have.
I was a bit curious as to what his definition of the soul was and here's the quote-
Quote:What is the Soul?
One secret to understanding God’s Universe is to understand the human soul The soul is NOT your physical body, nor your spiritual body (although many think differently)
The soul is the living, feeling, emotional, desiring, intentional, passionate heart of your true self The soul has sensory apparatus, passion, desire, emotion, feelings, aspirations, intentions, free will,
memory, personality, instinct, natural love, energy, appendages of the spirit body & physical body
Think of the soul as a container; an entity; full of experiences
Notice how he says the soul is not your physical body and then goes on to give it attributes we know require the physical body and are determined by brain structure and function. Please do not waste our time with any more incoherent, babbling drivel.

just need to clear that up!
Complete rubbish. The soul is an ancient interpretation of what we now know is completely physical. The idea that the physical body is an appendage of the soul is just...well, silly.
1) A lot of people feel that the soul isn't just an abstract concept, Christians aren't alone in this. What excatly is known as completely physical?
2) Support your materialist view of the mind-brain concept if you can with definition and support please.
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post
