This is the problem though isn't it? How can we sincerely have a soul longing for his love if we don't believe he exists in the first place? At best we would have to pretend and by your standards that simply wouldn't work.
Yes this is a massive problem, was for me too!
But God did design every Soul with a spark for that desire that one can grow!
It is that spark that all man have that created religion in the first place, "seek out God!"
Our belief systems are in our Soul, they enter us with an emotion attached to it, once in the Soul it is very hard to unravel them!
Common beliefs of God are tied up with all the irrational beliefs we faced with growing up! There is a lot of anger, fear, and mistrust and resentment associated with it!
For example, myself I hated God, and I did not really believe in him because of the Christian faith, also my father was brought up in boarding school and he was very poorly treated by the nuns, so I adopted his emotions from a child! He hates the thought of God!
I had to release a lot of anger by expressing it, and it was deep!
Took me nearly 2 months to get passed that, anger came up I never felt before! Been in my Soul all my life! Had to experience it all, without projecting it to others!
But now I can talk about God without a problem! Actually I feel proud to talk of her! And that is very new for me, Hance being here now!
