You know what made me really feel it? After reading the accounts of Muslim women afraid to wear a hijab out of their houses this week, and all the "n***** bashing and "build the wall" chanting I saw, I though to myself "I'm so glad my whole family is white". What a horrible thing to think. Sad I know, I'm just feeling happy that we are mostly safe, but ugh.
