It's not as if we -aren't- "taking care of our own poor" first, in the first place. That's kind of the thing, we aren't taking care of illegals, they're not eligible. That's just some shit that our home grown bigots have been selling. Selling so hard, apparently, that "non-bigots" seem to think it might be a valid point.
