Apparently this is happening in Minnesota with a teen who wants to transition into a woman and the mom is saying no. Was curious to know yall's opinions on the legal side of things.
Sex reassignment is best done from an early age, however it is not a decision that can be made by a single individual be it the parent, or child. I believe this should be decided by a panel of doctors including a psychologist, parents of the child or legal guardian, and the child, while giving the child's wishes the highest priority.
