Why don't you go look up the word "inherent" and get back to me? Something that is inherent is an essential characteristic -- it inheres in a person or thing. No one said that white privilege is inherent. That was simply you practicing sloppy thinking ... as usual.

White privilege is a social phenomenon here in America. It is not inherent in whites. It is a result of whites being  in power in this society for centuries.

I'm sure there would be lots of areas in life where whites would be more "privileged" than blacks and other areas where blacks would be more "privileged" than whites. It's just nature. We just have to deal with it.

"White privilege" is nonsensical, maybe you mean the "Halo effect" but that's a far cry from "White privilege". If you still insist on the notion I have but one question for you:

Does white privilege apply to blacks that perform plastic surgery to look white?

If you answer yes, you're probably just a racist because of your prejudice.

If you answer no, your premise crumbles down into cheetos.

You don't understand the concept of white privilege. It's not as simple as skin color. We're talking about urban centers made up of minorities who are stuck in a cycle of poverty because the government has systematically targeted them. Nixon's War on Drugs policy was made purposely to put black people in prison, that much isn't up for dispute. His own aide admitted it. And the evidence is staggering: 14 million white people report illicit drug use, compared to 2 million black people, yet black people are sent to prison at 10 times the rate of white people for non-violent drug crimes. White people are also more likely to get lighter sentences for the exact same non-violent crimes. Keeping with the topic of law enforcement, police are more likely to "stop and frisk" minorities, even though white people are more likely to possess contraband. Police are also much more likely to shoot young black men in custody as opposed to young white men...blacks make up 12 percent of the American population, but account for over 30 percent of deaths via police (I know what you're thinking, but over a third of them were not resisting in any way. But even then, white men are less likely to be killed even when resisting.)

The reason white privilege is an important concept under a Trump presidency is because of the surge in hate crimes. It is an observable trend; people think it is okay to discriminate or commit hate crimes now that Donald Trump is going to be POTUS, because of his careless rhetoric. Here's the BBC report that actually just came out discussing the Soutern Povery Law Center's research on the matter. I have minority friends who are afraid for their well-being now, because where they live there is a serious amount of racism that has been masked until now. The fact that white people do not need to worry about this is an example of privilege. 

White privilege doesn't say that white people can't face discrimination or that they can't face certain socio-economic issues that minorities also face. It says that Western civilization has historically and systematically discriminated against minorities, and the effects are still felt today. There is more than what I said, but I don't have time to do all the research for you.
