LOL... So I guess you don't get into a car either, do you? Because more people die per day in car accidents, than died on 911. And if nature wanted us to roll around at 60mph - it would have given us wheels and diesel engines... 

If you wear your seatbelt and you crash your car with 100 mph, you can still walk away from it and it's highly likely that you do so. If the plane hits the ground with 100 mph, let alone more, no seatbelts can save you. Sometimes you can even get lucky, like this guy below - 165 mph and not a scratch on him.
