Atheists, tell me, a Roman Catholic: why should I become an atheist?

So um yeah... the Church does not teach that women are objects. 

That's nice, dear. However, you have no authority, to tell us what women are in the eyes of god:

I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet.(1 Timothy 2:12 )

I have no idea if this is true or not, but ..

Could it be that the catholic church places a greater premium on the life of an unborn child than the grown girl who carries it - because that child might be male? (I'm guessing it probably doesn't come right out and say as much in the catholic bible.)
