I know a couple of people seeking asylum that I would welcome into my godamned home and break bread with - have a few thousand sq ft of unused space, it aint pretty but it's better than where they are, not just out of charity...I really miss them....they served with me, but they were denied. They'll probably end up dead, along with their entire family and anyone who ever looked at them kindly.
