Well, firstly, navy, so, not exactly risking his life in the most stringent sense, secondly, navy - serving his country..not iraqis. Again, we've been doing it for some time. That's not complex, it's obvious. You do realize that service members aren't paragons of virtue, scrubbed of all human flaws...........right? That plenty of people who hated gooks, "helped" the gooks in vietnam? That plenty of people who hated ragheads, "helped" the ragheads in Iraq.
