Yep the world is changing.. thats so cool you're from Norway! do you know what Flugstad means?
I live in Denver CO USA and we only just now finallh got the snow falling this mlnth! used to be September/October! When I lived in New Mexico (south of Colorado), the mountain ski resorts gave up and became waterslide parks! just gotta adapt, we all need to adapt and stop building houses where it's flooded before and stuff, you know? i sure hope the world Paris agreement is upheld; i dont want to know what the world will be like without the caps..
Flugstad? Never heard of it. It's definitely not a word in the Norwegian vocabulary, but a quick google search shows me that there are people with Flugstad as their surnames.
(If you're looking for any meaning in the name, however, I can tell you that "stad" is an old word for "town" or "village." "Flug" could also be an old word no longer in use, and the closest thing to it that I can think of, is "fly" which means, well, "fly" or "flight.")
