Primitive people had shorter lives marked by susceptibility to diseases, starvation, and exposure among other things.  Infant mortality was high, many mothers died in childbirth, and many children died before reaching the age of five.  Over time, technology has helped ease these problems and in some cases drastically reduce them.  The places on Earth where these problems are still significant are those areas that lack those technologies or reject them.  That's right, we can see the difference that technology makes by comparing those people who take advantage of it to those who do not.  The former live longer, healthier, happier lives.  The latter wipe their asses with clumps of grass and wonder why their meals taste like leafy shit.

So yeah, primitive people didn't enjoy what we have today (better health, longer lives, happier lives) and we don't have what they had (a short, shitty, painful existence).  You think that's a wash.  That's because you're an idiot.

As usual you miss to take the whole picture in consideration.
All you do is to see the outside picture which doesn't help much.
Not only that but you also only see the positive in us today and the negative in them (primitive people).
If you only would do the opposite the result would be quite different but that is not even the point.

The point is that progress equal to what you feel inside and what you are able to take with you when you leave the dead body.
This is the real progress.
All the rest is crap because when you depart from your dead body you have no choice but to live every
external thing behind including technologies, rockets, spaceships and the lot.

Most atheists carry with them a big big dogma and that is the idea that with the physical death everything is over so to live longer is something very very important for them.
In reality is most probably the opposite in most cases.
As the body is not the real you also a vehicle that you use to travel is not you.
As far as you think that the body is the real you you also compare a car or a vehicle with the real you.

Wouldn't you be happy to change your old car and get a new one?
With the same logic it would be a lot better to get rid of and old body and get a new one but because most atheists do not use logic then they try to stick with the old one as far as it stand up.
