Gate's "charitable" foundation is as much a scam as Trump's. The Gates Foundation actually gives money (and a fuckton of it) to actual charities. Billions of dollars have gone to fighting eradicable diseases, basic healthcare, family planning, etc. in third world countries.
The worst that can be said is that the trust (not the foundation, but the Bill & Melinda Gates Trust) which provides a significant amount of the capital for the foundation, invests in fossil fuel companies and shitty companies like Wal-Mart and McDonalds.
I'm sure they're not perfect people, but the foundation does a lot of good around the world. Comparing it to Trump's lack of proof for charitable donations to anyone but himself is just dishonest.
