I walked out after half an hour of the last SW film. I thought it was well done (for what it was) but I couldn't shake the feeling that I'd seen it before.

But who forced the writers/directors to produce a carbon copy of Episode IV? Probably execs who didn't feel like taking any risks whatsoever. This is why the main thread of Star Wars movies is trapped in self referential stagnation. That's why I have hopes for the anthology series to escape that.
