Also, wuld every teenage female Star Wars character from now on always come naturally equipped with stupendous natural talent that allow them to out duel sith apprentice, lead covert missions to get the empire's most important secrets, or kill dozens of imperial storm troopers with one blaster shot, all without any significant prior training?
I know the overdid it with Rey in Episode 7, but does the heroine of Rogue One have such skills?
The trailers implies she is a misfit, picked off the street by the rebel alliance and entrusted with stealing the empire's deepest secret on a mission so important the only two good movies of the franchise had depended on it for 39 years. But in her favor the empire that can spread through the galaxy apparently did so without any creditable security or counter-intelligence services, and the dreaded storm troops are so well trained they never hit even by accident and obediently lie down on the ground when faced with a single blind man armed with a staff.
