I have a concert to play on Yule (December 21 this year) but when I get home there will be a cold bottle of mead in the fridge to mark the occasion.
Normally on Christmas Eve the same band would be playing at a local homeless shelter to entertain the patrons during Christmas luncheon, but this year the shelter is being renovated and there's no room for us to set up. (A 40-piece concert band takes up a substantial amount of floor space.)
I will be going on the traditional Cappuccino Run on the afternoon of Christmas Eve, whereby I find a comfy chair at the mall and sip a hot beverage while observing the hustle and bustle of last-minute shoppers.
Christmas Day: Sleep in; make coffee; eat mass quantities of chocolate for breakfast; roast a duck and serve with stuffing, orange sauce, yams, cranberry sauce, and sparkling white wine.
