On the maternal side, all the way back to Allfather Oðinn (and, rumour has it, through the family tree of Erik the Red and Leif Erikson as well).  On the paternal side I'm a highland Scot warrior babe.  Judging from the vaguely European-looking maps in the Robert E. Howard Conan books, if you drew a line from either Reykjavik or Oslo to Edinburgh, that would make Me Cimmerian.  Crom!

Appropriately I currently live just over an hour's drive south of New Iceland, in Winnipeg (unofficial motto:  "Colder than Mars!")
