This is why it's so frustrating when theists are so deluded, they spout things like, "Oh, that's not what it's really all about", or if they do actually have the integrity to admit it, they'll claim they can reform it. There's nothing to reform, it's garbage, it's poison, and it needs to go away forever.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?
