"Sofa" or bust.
I'd also add to that;
"Scent" instead of "perfume"
"Living room" instead of "lounge"
"laundry" instead of "washing"
And finally, "lunch" is what you have in the afternoon and "dinner" is in the evening. "Tea" isn't a meal, it's what you drink.
I think there's actually a technical difference between a sofa and a settee, relating somehow to size, but I'm not sure. With a sofa being smaller. But regardless... sofa's a nice word but a settee is what it is

Agree on living room. I might use the word 'scent' for a man's fragrance, but not for a woman's... a woman's I'd always call perfume. And 'teatime' doesn't mean any time you have tea... does it?... so it's come to mean a certain time of day (when people presumably had a lot of tea
