They have guns. They don't have "all the guns", nor do they have the armor, the choppers, the fighters, the bombers, and they certainly don't have the infrastructure and training. The Weekend Warriors would make mince meat of them.
Heheh, caught this one way late. I might be wrong here, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the people who actually could mount a credible resistance, in america, to the american military, are almost uniformly former service members themselves. Not necks with alot of black popguns and gi joe fetishes, camping in the woods with their buddies and bitching about the guvmint. People who would much sooner gun down the white militia than become traitors to their flag and country.
Don't tell anyone I gave the reservists an ounce of credit.....but I'm calling the whole "Bubba vs The Second Stringers" a rout before it ever happens too.
