I know I said I'd give you the last word and we'd call it good, so I won't respond to anything you said here.  It's a new day and a cooler head, so I did want to answer your question.  My wife has a bachelor's degree in psychology.  She has spent nearly the last 20 years working with the intellectually disabled.  She is not trained to "diagnose" mental illness.  Her training did necessarily include spotting and understanding it, though.  I did not want to leave the conversation with a potentially misleading or deceptive statement out there on my part.

I know that you probably won't respond to or even read this, but what you've just described means she is not qualified to diagnose mental illness, like I've tried to tell you before.

I did read it.  I'm not that petty.  And no, I will not respond to it simply because I said I wouldn't and the conversation is utterly pointless at this point anyway.
