I took journalism in college, and anyone who works at a TV, newspaper, radio station knows the old phrase "If it bleeds, it leads". It is a dick move far too much by what should be called "corporate media" which is not really left wing ownership, I only wish those employees from the top to the mom and pop shops would stop allowing the CEOs focus on the few and focus on the vast majority. But "If it bleeds it leads" applies to anything, local crime, car accident, natural disaster.
This is the same bullshit they pull when a black man or cop dies, pit society against each other, great for ratings.
