We believe that to most probably be the case,but it is by no means certain.

The whole area of intelligence is under constant study and the very definition under constant review. The understanding of animal intelligence,especially of birds,had been turned on its head in the last two decades or so.

Non sequitor. Our intelligence infers no such thing.No more than a genius IQ infers a brilliant outcome in any activity.
