Atheism in control would be bad

I am not really arguing for "Religious foundamentlism" i am not really anti religious but i am against fundamentalism just due to what happens if a society has a totalitarian regime.
However, what i am saying is let society be realistic. Wanna know why i think its bad? Because i saw Aldous Huxley's Brave New World.
I dont know about you but this is nightmare material to me.

That's strange...what with Brave New World being a thinly veiled satire of the dangers of religious thinking and social behavior in a dystopian future as proposed by a lifelong and committed humanist in Huxley......

Secular societies tend to be the best in the world, though. You can't really base something off atheism itself, because all it means is not a theocracy. Secularism leads to freedom and equality, so it is in fact very good for the world

Saudi Arabia executes people up to this day. Vatican gave blessings to Nazis and used faith to declare war/holy crusade. Jehovah's witnesses gave millions people an idea that blood transfusion is a serious sin, which resulted in a lot of casualties, even among kids.
Atheists do same crazy shit. And?
