No, it's not. Trump didn't say it was the largest inaugeration to ever happen. Also, his press secretary making an offhand comment about a crowd he had just seen isn't the same as seriously contending that it was the largest crowd ever.

That wasn't an offhand comment, and it wasn't just after he had seen the crowd. If it were, how could he possibly have a comment on TV audiences? Don't even try to make excuses - this is the new White House staff deliberately lying to our faces, desperately trying to make His Holy Trumpness look better and more popular than he actually is.
I guess there's some truth to what some are saying; Trump could walk into the streets and start gunning down people like a maniac, and his fans would still support him and excuse his behavior. It's both saddening and sickening.
