RE: The most liberal and conservative jobs

Looking at the chart, I'm wondering if people who are more left brained tend to be more conservative and those more right brained tend to be more liberal?
The more artsy type jobs seem to be more blue (architect, chef, librarian, florist, yoga, etc), while the more technical jobs are red (home builder, plumber, pilot, truck driver, surgeon, etc etc).
I wonder why that is?
