After the election trump made a show of wanting to keep his private security, and keep the secret service at arm's length. Similar desires to rely on his private German bodyguards while keeping the praetorian guards at arm's length did not save Caligula.
Next thing you know he will demand mirrors in every room
Incidentally, When the particular emperor who thought he could see assassins coming and avoid assassination by installing mirrors in every room was nonetheless assassinated in one of his mirrored rooms, that ushered the era of the five good emperors and 100 year of peace and prosperity across the Roman Empire during 2nd century AD.
