As per my analysis yesterday, Trump is likely to want his own intelligence service disjoint from existing ones and reporting directly to him; given the current staffing and roles of his inner circle, Bannon is the natural choice for them to report through.
I've seen a few people mention the word coup, but there it's all laid out.
This seems probable. He wants to be King, not president, and this is how hell do it. If they dismantle the checks and balances, then all that talk of fix8ng this in 4 or 8 years is pointless. Our democracy will be well and truly dead. Rip America.
