Trump has business ties there. That's the one and only educated guess.
Summary: None of the banned countries has business ties to Trump. And none of the citizens of the banned countries launched a terrorist attack on American soil - ever.
Make of that what you will.
I wish people would stop with this "explanation". The Obama administration came up with the list of countries as "countries of concern". They are all either at war / civil war / politically unstable.
As much I dislike Trump the fact that he has no business interests in the named countries seems to be little more than coincidence.
