Seriously there is no purpose in coming up with viable new creatures which have human cells. But if you can put some pig and some human cells together to grow parts that work better to heal people, why not? It isn't as if anyone is keeping them as pets or turning them lose. What if you could make one with just enough brainstem to keep it growing? If it allows a baby with a bum heart to get a needed valve that will last a lifetime, what's the harm?
When the stem cells come from aborted babies, no, murder of the innocent is an unacceptable way to obtain them.
There will always be people who will make a step over the line, if we keep moving it then one day disaster will be the result, whether it's selling aborted baby parts, cloning humans or experimenting on hybridizing humans.All it would take is one who thinks like the Nazis did.
