Isn't the 'function' what we're all driven to explore... the 'religious' gene that all humans exhibit? That's certainly what religious endeavour exploits.
I try to ignore Nietzsche. I tried reading a book of his years ago. Such negativity should destroy itself. The polar opposite to a common sense take on purpose. But perhaps I didn't give him a fair chance and am missing some great stuff.
