Certainly I appreciate the humour of this thread,
but it does call to mind two articles I stumbled across, recently:
One article asks comparative questions about what "manly men" use as criteria
in their evaluation of the level of masculinity in themselves, and in other males,
which I've often wondered at, myself:
IE: who is more masculine?
A. The very average-looking straight guy who is SO straight,
he only watches lesbian porn because the mere sight of male junk
is enough to ruin it for him,
B. The gayer-than-gay "bear, seeking other bears" who can cheerfully
accommodate a toy the size of his own massive arm?
The Toxic Alpha Male
And the second article was written by a self-professed "bookish, skinny wallflower" of a gay man,
who experimentally spent a month on Grindr (gay hookup web app) posing as a "masc" (masculine) guy,
and was dismayed by the exhausting and sad results...
....he found it transparently rife with insecurity; a never-ending parade of comparisons and challenges to his masculinity,
which was, bizarrely, the apparent preferred brand of flirtation with potential hookup partners:

Maybe I could have started a whole different thread about this,
but I think it ties into the humour with which Whateverist made the OP;
I hope it won't be considered a hijack of the thread,
but merely a serious continuation of a humourous post;
So anyway I'm interested if anyone else has any thoughts.
Those are good articles, thanks for sharing. Masculinity and femininity are social constructs. You can learn a lot about a person when you know what they believe are masculine and feminine traits and behaviors.
