What makes my faith true?
My faith in the Invisible Pink Unicorn is indisputable. She and I have a relationship, just us. And you can't prove otherwise...
Anyway, my faith while religious was sustained by social reinforcement and circular reasoning. Once I no longer accepted the premise, the circle was broken.
My old religion has people who believe that they've been chosen by God to serve as king-priests in heaven. It strikes me that pretty much every religion and denomination has people like this. How can that be?
