Could you kindly tell me exactly what the problem is that I proved?  Because if someone says faggot in a condescending way, they ARE a homophobe, and should be told to shut up and sit down. And the irony is they don't mind flinging perjoratives around, but are unable to accept them when flung back at them.

No they're not. For example when I use that word (and I do often) nothing even relating to homosexuals is in my mind. People can and do use it as just a general prejorative.

That's possible, but that term is derogitivly associated with gay people.

Nobody else lives between your ears. If you use that term publically, people are going to assume your making derogotve statement against gays because that is what the term is associated with. This isn't that tough.

PC means be respectful. Don't be a jerk. Have some semblance of common courtesy. Be civilized.
