Try this. Some groups cause has merit -and- the proponents of that cause are committed enough to risk their lives - adding an additional wrinkle and seriousness that does not exist where proponents are not. Or, you know...
"Hur dur, black block!"
10 minutes ago you were all about individual merits and now it's an issue of universality. Make up your mind, or, better yet... just go ask the people who have made up your mind for you what your opinion should be.
I don't know what black block is, I saw you reference it when talking to abaris before and didn't know what it meant then.
It's very simple. I'm talking about the merits of individual cases and applying the same standard universally.
So I can't say this group here has some merits based on the fact that they're willing to die for their cause but that cult over there is crazy because they're willing to die for their cause.
If I'm honest and non hypocritial then I have to judge both groups based on merits beyond the factor of how much their willing to die.
And that works for any individual also.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
