Secular Coalition for America has a great way to easily contact your Senators and Congressmen if you live in America.
Literally, it takes me 2 minutes to send off an email to both of my senators, and it only takes that long because I add my own words and pleas to the email.
I get an email about an action alert, I click the link, add what I want to the email, and send it to my Congressperson.
They also have a rapid response team, which notifies you when there is a town hall meeting in your district.
This is how the Tea Party got it done. If you don't think your voice counts, think again. The staffers may not read the letters, but they are definitely keeping a tally of the number of responses they receive. This is how Devos got two Republican Senators crossing the line.
This is the action alert for Neil Gorsuch:

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
